Then please go to "TEMPLATE DESIGNER"

A First - Custom Layout

There is always a first, and this layout is my first layout for a male Blogger! (I'm not counting my hubs right now... because he's not really a client ..) Adam is a Book Blogger that won this layout from the wonderful Page Turners. They were so happy with their layout that they gave away one layout from me!

Anyway, Adam won and I was a bit afraid since I'm mostly design blogs for girls. Seriously look at my designs, they are all dreamy and most definitely for girls! But, Adam and me discussed, came up with some ideas and this is what we've done:

I just finished a wonderful layout I created together with Katie from the Crescive Library.She said she wanted something cute but not too girly and she choose the wonderful kit from Bisontine "Everday Blessings"

In addition she choose the cute girl that was holding a book in her hands from iStock Photos. This is what we created and I think it turned out wonderful! But see yourself!

Clean hottness - Custom Layout

Kerry is one of my ver first Twitter/Bloggy friends and since I had the pleasure to meet her this year in June I love her even more. Plus, she is absolutely my best Customer because this is already the third blog she let's me design. The first was for her FanFiction she wrote together with my Pushy, the second was for her own Fanfiction writing and now this one is for her real writing. Because, she is an extremely talented writer she now decided to get published!!
Anyway, we wanted something clean, yet sexy but still with a professional look.

We used Catherine's Boys Retreat kit.

She chosse a awesome font and she choose some incredible hot and sexy pictures from iStock images..
Gee, she made me work with hot boys, well it was my pleasure!

I'm super happy she liked what I did for her because I really love this layout a lot!
It's clean, yet sexy and the red is a great eye-catcher!

Dreaminess - Custom Layout

I loved working with Amelia, she had a pretty exact idea what she wanted. She wanted her blog to look dreamy and of course with books!

So we combined a few kits from Joifa Designs to make this happen.

This is one of the cutest layouts I ever did ( at least I think like that) and it's one of those I'd love to have for myself. Nely from All about {n} contacted me with the sweetest mail ever to ask if I have time to design her a new layout. How can I refuse when I get such a cute mail? Plus, Nely is a doll and just one of the sweetest persons ever!
Nely fell in love with a girl from iStock images and told. me "If you manage to make her eyes green and let her hold books in her hands I will love you forever"...
Again, how can I refuse?

Flying Dreams of a Happy Reader - Custom Layout

I was contacted from Len to do a Custom Layout and she came up with a bunch of kit's she liked, However, there was one she was so in love with and although it wasn't one of my designers (yet) I agreed to contact the designer. Because, just like Len I fell in love with this kit and desperately wanted to work with it. It was the Flying Dreams kit from Lorie Davidson Designs and as you can read here she afterwards agreed to let me use all of her kits for Blog Design.

Once I started with this layout I was in love with this designer, her creativity is immense and it was a pleasure working on this design. Len also was happy right away with what I showed her and so this is what we've done together:

Remember when I was so happy that Irene allowed me to work with her kits? I was beyond happy, she made an exception for me. ..

Something similar happened today: A client showed me a kit from Lorie Davidson and asked me if we could ask her for permission since she fell in love with this kit and desperately wanted her Blog done with this kit.

Honestly, admire this awesomeness!!!

I contacted Lori asking if she would allow me to use her kit for this blog - she never allowed something like this but apparently liked the Blog's I've designed so far that we worked out a license... *big squee moment*

After I finished this blog I showed her the blog and asked (maybe begging was involved) if I could add her to my list of designers since I'm so pretty sure people will love her work. She's is an amazing designer and I bow my head when I see her designs.

A Novel Process - Custom Layout

This was a design I did recently for Karin who wanted her blog to keep track on her writing progress. She wanted bright colors and also a Comic-Me in her header. Unfortunately the kit she wanted first was not available anymore since the designer stopped working but we found this pretty kit from Niki Beaudreau called Falling for you.

Karin especially loved the red striped background and I have to say it looks awesome as a background. Plus. I had to do some adjustments of the Comic-Girl. She got blue glasses and

I modified the shirt to match the layout.

She also got a wavy Linkbar and we made some nice sidebar title images.

Portfolio Updates - Norwegian Book Girl, Ellz Readz and Page Turners!

I did some lovely blogs lately and here are the updates.

Ellz Readz was the winner of a giveaway Donna from Bites hold some time ago. She had a long list of kits she loves but finally decided for Joifa's Innocent Imaginations. Lovely kit!!

The Norwegian Book Girl came with a interesting question: She runs an english BookBlog and she runs a Book blog in Norwegian and she wanted to have the same design for the two blogs.OooOo This was a challenge since I had noo idea what about what I was writing when I designed the Norwegian blog. She wanted to have Kimla's Storytime kit and she said she wanted to have something in blue.

Plus she wanted to have the dreamy aspect of getting lost in a book. Well, good that I recently changed the my name to Dreamy Blog Designs *giggles* . Ok so those are her Blogs:

The Page Turners have a wonderful blog and they had a great idea about what they want. We discussed for weeks about how to approach this and which kits would work with that. They wanted to have a girl sitting in a cottage style room and dreaming about an outside Faery world. Woho Ok! So we collected kits and in the end decided for a few kits to use and combine. Honestly this was a real challenge!!!

So this is the final Result: Plus they wanted a Drop Down menu for their blog... So yes I think this was by far the biggest project I ever had... The Vector was Custom made form a friend of the Page Turners and I really love the girl, it's awesome!

It's time to grow. It's nearly a year now I started my small Blog Designs Page here and all started with the love for Twilight. If you look at my Portfolio and go down and look at the first blogs I designed all of them were about Twilight. It was wonderful designing all those wonderful blogs and meet all those incredible lovely people.

But my Blog Designs grew and I also design other blogs, private blogs, Book Blogs ... and I feel I needed to change my name.

When looking at the designs I've done all of them look like a place to dream and it also represents my dreamy nature. Who doesn't love to get lost in a different world, be it in books or in Twilight or in your own private space where you talk about yourself?

I'm so happy to tell you that I have a license from a new designer! I contacted Irene already a year ago but she doesn't allow Custom Blog Designs with her kits.

I was sad, oh so sad.

But then I saw her latest kit and I was so entranced that I had to contact her again. I made it clear how incredible in love I am with her kits and guess what, she made an exception for me!! Gosh, I was so happy!!

She truly is unique and she creates kits that look right from out of a Faery tale or from a different world. Most of her stuff is hand drawn which shows her incredible talent!

Vintage Love - Custom Layout

This layout was done super fast because Jillian and me were pretty clear about how her blog should look like. I was a devoted Follower from Jillians Blog already before so I knew her style and what she loves. When she contacted me about a layout I was thrilled since, truth to be told I had already a few ideas for her blog. Jillian choose the wonderful Vintage kit from Bisontine

Victoria Tenderness, which was a great choice and perfect for the idea of her blog.

Jillian wanted a Pink Package plus a simply, easy to adjust Linkbar and the blog header should reflect her love for books! So I created a vintage style header with a bookshelf, tons of books and some other nice elements. Well, Jillian loved it just like it was and I was thrilled that I got it right from the beginning!

Read in a Faery world - Custom Layout

Kate runs a sweet BookBlog, wanted a green package with rating system and she wanted something dark but still magic. We discussed for a very long time about what she really wants and looked at a few kits but truly, non of the kits from my awesome designers fit Kate's needs. After I realized this I went into the deeps of my files and searched at my favorite vector files pages iStock and ShutterStock and finally got it right for Kate *sighs in relief*

Kate choose this sweet girl for the header at ShutterStock and I found the cute dog for her. I added the Faery in the header and some magic looking elements from MK designs and Kimla. ( Both are just the perfect source for something truly magic).For the rating we took the classic (but perfect for her layout) star-rating. In the end I'm really happy with the layout and I love it a lot!!

Alice meets Chocolate fabric - Custom Layout

Honesty, this layout is awesome and I so adore this one! I told Donna if she doesn't want it I would keep it for myself, but well... there was no way to make a deal with her *giggles*

Donna runs a BookBlog called "Bites" and she's just fantastic and she contacted me for a green package plus rating system. After a few discussions she feel in love with the TeaTime kit from MK Designs.

Alice meets Tim Burton, cute and a bit creepy that was the goal! She also loved the girl, so we took her for the header. Donna wanted a dark blog so I went with the brown colors from the kit and worked from there on . I adore this header, it's very detailed. But this kit from MK designs is just like a candy machine for a designer since there are so many wonderful unique and creative elements to work with . I love how it looks like it's coming out of the blog ( does that makes sense lol?) and we took this look for the rating:

It was just plain fun working with her on this design. This blog is also the first one ever that got a Linkbar which is in the upper part of the header and not like usual below, but it worked so much better with this design that I was glad Donna let me do this!

This was such a sweet and lovely layout and working with Lisa was so easy going, it was awesome! Lisa got a pink package and it was clear from the beginning which kit she wants.

Portfolio Updates - The magic world of MK designs!

I realized I haven't updated my Portfolio with those two blogs I did some time ago for two of my Blogger Friends. Both of the Layouts are truly unique with kits from MK Designs

For afragilelittlehuman we used MK designs "Thoughts kit" which is truly unique and wonderful!

She got a green package and I designed a truly special header for her! Sometimes ideas just pop up when I look at the kits. I asked fragile if it was OK to try a few things and she let my just do what I had in my head: This is what came out!

Bex is also a Bloggy friend and I designed already the layout for her main blog, this however is the blog that goes with her FanFiction story. We really had some problems nailing the look of her layout and we started 3 times? lol yes we did!

We created a blog in brown red and orange and I truly love with what we finally came up with.

I love the colors and the font we used for the Linkbar, it's called " Riesling" and hey, I love good wines hehe!

The magic Custom Layout

This is a design for a blog where mother and daughter post Book and Reviews together. Since, it was a surprise for her daughter Suzie wanted something dreamy and magic. She choose the G'Night Sweetheart kit from Vera Lim since both of them also love purple so much! So we focused on making a dreamy and magic layout!

The elements found in this kit are perfect for her wish and so I started on this layout. Suzie was so easy and wonderful to work with because basically she just loved what I did, which I truly appreciate! I extremely love the sweet like firefly for the sidebar titles and the clocks with the wings! Since they will post reviews I also created a rating system for them: Classically we used stars but with this layout they just go perfect together

Mindful Musings sweet Custom Layout

Natalie from Mindful Musings was the second winner of the giveaway we hosted at the Bewitched Bookworms last month. After discussing what she could want and what she would like we came up with a vector girl from shutterstock and I proposed this kit together with the girl to create a lovely light blog layout. The kit is from the super talented bisontine and called Spring Love. This kit is super sweet with all the hearts and birds:)

I'm thrilled that Natalie was one of the winners, since I truly love her blog a lot.

Together we created an unique layout for her. Including a wavy linkbar that matches the header. For the background we took a background found at shutterstock and I love the wavy and swirly layout we finally came up with!

I also created a rating system for her Book reviews and she choose one of the hearts we found in the kit:

It was super easy and great working with Natalie on this design and I'm just happy she loves the new style of her blog!

Wickedly awesome layout - Custom Layout

Time for an Portfolio Update, Stacy ( or Wicked Walker) was lucky enough to win one of my Custom Layouts at the big Bookworm Party last week. I', so glad she won, because she was soo easy to work with, it was amazing. We started chatting right after I send her an mail that she won the layout and soon it was clear what we want to do for her. She wanted a dark blog and so she choose Joifa's Bright Night kit!

After I showed her the first draft it wasn't much to change to make her happy, which is pretty cool! As I said she was easy going! We played a bit around with the right font, which often is the most complicated part but then we finally had it. We incorporated a Comic Girl from one of my favorite designers at iStock and I just made the girl wicked by giving her some devil horns:) I think it looks pretty cool!

And since Stacy is a BookBlogger and also needs a cool rating system I created som rating pictures for her.

Honestly, aren't they perfect for her? Those cute little hearts with devil horns and a tail?? cuteness!It was the most fun working with Stacy! :)

Today is national Srapebooking day and I went around looking at what my fabulous designer have new in their store. Maybe some of them catch your eye and give you some inspirations for a new look of your blog!

Vera Lim Designs:

Good Night Sweetheart, this kit is lovely when you are looking for something dark with sparkle effects and some glowing. Especially this lovely glowing bee is so sweet! This is truly a magical kit, with lot's of sparkling and glowing effects and stars..

MK Designs:

TeaParty. This kit directly from Alice in Wonderland! If you want a blog looking like another world this one could be the right one.

Lily Designs:

Lily always surprises my with he real elements and she apparently does love flowers, a lot. This kit called Dream Garden is truly wonderful. Make your blog look like a dreamy garden with lots of beautiful flowers. Apart from the flowers, she created birds that look just magical and not from this world!

Kimla Designs:

Although her Summer impressions kit is not new I want to feature it today because I adore the color combinations here. Red and yellow just screams like summer, love the red flasks and the red corn poppy.

Bisontine:

Love birds?? I adore this kit! the colors work so nicely together and the tiny bird she created are just sweetness! Spring Love is a wonderful and unique kit!

I resolve - Custom Layout!

My newest layout I created for a jwop, who has already a layout from me and I was happy she came back to me when she started looked for a layout for another blog she's running. Since we worked already together it was easy going and I proposed her a few ideas and she finally decided for the kit "I resolve" from Holly design's and Vera Lim. Two designs I adore!!

So we talked about what she wanted for her blog and I started. Like I said it was super easy and I didn't need to change much. jwoap got a green package.

The Bookworms Blog-Portfolio Update

I know I know, it's been forever I updated my Portfolio!! And, I totally forgot to tell you about a layout I've done for a wonderful project. I asked 7 of my friends to form a new blog together with me. It's about books and I'm super happy all of them were as excited about the project as I was. After quite some time thinking about a good name we agreed on the Bewitched Bookworms. A magical name, so I had to create a magical layout.

We choose an super awesome Collab kit from Vera Lim and MK designs, two of my favorite designers! And, when they team up something amazing comes out. I loved the magical touch of the kit and the colors. Love is in The Air

I wanted to create a unique design with a magic touch and books, books and Love! the magic touch I found in the kit and I couldn't even decide which elements to take since they are all so incredible awesome. I also looked at iStock photo and found some really great book pics I directly bought and incorporated in your layout.

Then, I also created a Linkbar with a cute hover effect, sweet sidebar titles images and a footer.

I really gave my very best for this layout. Since we are a bookblog, we wanted our post section with a old paper background and I'm glad I found one.

The Blog Title is also special, I combined this swirly font with a awesome text effect so that it looks so shiny.

Two new layouts!!

I recently finished two layouts and believe me they are totally different from each other, which was incredible fun to do !

Miles of Style

The first one was for persis who is a super sweet girl from India and she's running a blog about "style". Actually it makes me incredible happy that she choose me to do her design...

After talking a bit about what she has in mind I proposed her this kit from bisontine which I hoped would match her visions and indeed it was THE kit for her!

Persis wanted a pink package plus the custom font for post titles and sidebar addon, which is really lovely btw. It makes a blog so unique! So we did a vintage style blog for her and I think together we designed something lovely for her! She is a super cute girl and so pretty it was wonderful working with her and I'm glad I met her!

The Burtonesque Dolls

As I said in the beginning the two layouts I present today are totally different from each other, the next one I designed for Betty and her Burtonesque Blog. She wanted a blog dedicated to all Tim Burton's Corpse Bride! Which was not.so.easy.for.me to be honest here:)

She decided to combine two kits from MK-Designs the Lil Lady Monsters (pink) and the Cute Little Monsters (blue), both available at the her shop. I really adore MK designs, she does such wonderful kits..

Anyway. Betty got a green package where we substituted the linkbar with special Buttons. She wanted 6 different Buttons for the challenges she's going to hold on her blog.

Portfolio Updates!

It's been a long time since I updated my Portfolio, which doesn't mean I haven't done anything!
I looked through my Portfolio and found some missing designs and they are really worth to look at, each one special and unique!

We used Kimla's Storytime kit for this blog. And the task was to make it look enchanted and dreamy since it's a blog dedicated to all things about Rob. The girls got a pink package. It turned out really dreamy nd I hope the girls are happy!

"just words on a page" for jwoap

This one is a really cool layout! jwoap took a green package and a super lovely kit from Karina Designs "Purple Love". Awesome kit, it was awesome working with it. jwoap wanted her header to look like her desk and that's why she send me pics from funny things on her desk, like the pink marker , toys well and coffee! :) It was tons of fun working with her on the vision for her blog!

"Mishaps of a scribe" for Honolulu Girl

Suzie was one of my first customers ever and I really adore her! She wanted a blog for her fanfiction storys and so we had a special challenge: The best thing for her would be a Drop Down Menu! OOOoooo, this I never did before! Static horizontal Linkbars - check, DropDown menu - wow, challenge! Anyway I managed and also wrote Suzie how to update the Linkbar herself!
We used for her blog Lily's "Waiting for Santa" kit. Sweet hu? :) Somehow Lily does it for Suzie, also her first blog was with one of Lily's kit, I can't blame her - Lily is awesome!

"jessica N designs" for Jessica

Jessica was also one of my very first customers, the third actually! (Yes I still know that) She started designer sweet and lovely jewellery, necklaces and stuff and I can tell you, it's really sweet stuff she does! Anyway, she wanted a green package for a design blog to have a blog accompany her shop at etsy.

As add on for her package she also wanted: The fancy Linkbar and the custom font for post tiles and sidebar titles. Basically Jess wanted everything I offer *giggles* .
She choose Catherine's kit "A Bonheur des Dames" since she wanted her blog pink and brown, a wonderful color combination! So I created a special Linkbar for her blog including some nice hover effects, I also installed a Custom font that replaces her post titles and sidebar titles.

New Premade Kimla Designs Bloglayouts!!! Giveaway

Loving Coffee - Custom Layout

In the weekend I have been really productive and finished some layouts. One of those was for the lovely Paula, who is a truly enthusiastic and awesome person. She told me she wanted to have a) a sweet Comic - Me for her header and a theme based on coffee. I proposed her Karina's Good Morning kit because I thought this would fit the best. She loved but wanted to have all the light blue stuff preferably in Starbucks- green. Hey, I love challenges so I did ...

Next we had to focus on the Comic - Me and Paula wanted to have her Comicself more looking like her, so I took the challenge to modify this sweet Comic Girl. I made her hair darker and her eyes brown, changed the color of the couch and removed the bow in her hair and wooosssh there she is: I think she really looks lovely and perfectly fitting for Paula and the rest of the Layout.

What makes this layout special:

The awesome Comic girl we created for the header!!
The Starbucks colors together with the coffee-cup theme.
The sweet alpha we took for the Blog title

I added a new Package to my list which is the Photoblog Template. Photoblogs need different things than a "normal" blog. You need a wide postsection so that you can show your pictures in a larger size. The focus should be on your Photos!

The Packages includes:

a wide postsection for large pictures. This can be either white or another soft color of your choice.
one background
The sidebars are removed to the Footer Section (just like I have it here on my blog). There will be 3 Footer Columns. You can decide if you just want to have the Footer Columns or if you want to have one remaining sidebar, either left or right.
a clean Linkbar

Clean, bright and simple - The Photoblog Layout

This was the week of challenges! Apart from Kimla being an super talented designer she also loves to Photograph and has a Photoblog. A Photoblog needs different things than a "normal" blog. You want to show your pictures, this is the main focus therefore the main section has to be big and wide. To match Kimlas design blog I created a Photoblog template for her.

All is white and we just have a few tiny borders and some underlined titles. I again added a linkbar. The post section is as wide as the blog, so there is no space for a sidebar.

I moved all the sidebar content in the footer, where I created more space.

We have no 3 Footer Columns which gives more space and looks more organized.

Clean, bright and simple - Custom Layout

This here is a Layout I did for Kimla's blog. She wanted something clean, simple and organized. So that is what I did for her blog. We stayed with a white background so that her Layouts and kits shine in the best way:) We added a horizontal Linkbar for easy navigation. I made the borders super thin so that they are just for an organized feeling but nothing too prominent.

The colors we choose for borders, Linkbar background and sidebar title backgrounds are all matching her newest kit: Sweet little world. I kit full of soft pastel colors in pink and blue.

Since this kind of Layout is new and special, I'll still have to add this to my packages.

Aqua Love - Custom Layout

Here is my latest layout I did for Donna who is running a Rob blog called "it's Roblated". She choose this beautiful kit from Catherine Designs called "Guy things" because she loves the color combinations in the kit (So do I..).

She wanted a 2 column layout with a white post section background. So we made a black outer background and a lime sidebar background while the rest stayed white. Beautiful contrast! Luckily the kit came with this awesome alpha set which we used then for the blog title together with some Rob pics to pretty it up.... She also got a Linkbar to clean up the sidebar and 4 sidebar title images..

what makes this layout special:

- the wonderful Color combination with dark grey, aqua and lime.

- the cool alpha we used for the blog title

- a clean but pretty Linkbar

- Donna who is Scrapper herself made it super easy to work with!!!

I wanted to share the newest kits I found around in the shops. Apparently the girls have been super creative this month since I found so incredibly wonderful kits!

The first one is called Purple Love from Karina Designs. I always looked for a nice purple kit, but this one is not just nice, it's so beautiful!!

Lily finally made a new kit and look at it! She called it "Painted" and it's so great! Specially with a white background this kit will look fantastic!

KStudio made a kit called "Dazzled" and girls, I don't have to tell you why I needed to share this kit with you:)

Nikki's new kit consists of a great light green/yellow/brown color combination. I love this composition!

Holly made a new Collaboration kit together with Vera Lim and since they both have such fancy unique styles the kit they made together is fabulous! Love the combination of brown/orange/pink.

MK designs made a kit which is extremely cute!!! It's called "Wetterfrosch" loosely translated that means "weather frog" which is what we here in Germany say for weathermen, in a cute way. It comes from the idea that a frog could forecast the weather by climbing a ladder :)

New Face - New Look!!

Did you notice the change? My blog got an makeover!

But you might say that the whimsy blue layout wasn't that old and where is the sweet blond girl?

Well, the blue layout was one of the first layouts I did in my bloggy live and it was really cute and I love it a lot! But during the last month I learned so much about blogging and designs that I feelt like I need a new skin for my blog! I redesigned already my beloved Twilight blog and now it was time for an change also here.

Last week I browsed through one of my favorite sites : iStock Photo - I adore this site, I could look around for hours just because of the pretty pictures and graphics. And out of a habit I visited one of the most wonderful designers for those pretty sweet Comic girls you see here and probably on many other blogs too.

You can visit his Portfolio here , he creates such a large number of cute pretty girls woman and men... I digress..

Because the suddenly I found her: He called this girl "Chic Blogger"and she smiled at me and I was in love! I really didn't think and just clicked "buy". I realized that she was super new in his portfolio and I was actually the 2nd one who bought her...

I *cough* dyed my hair to brunette so I though it's appropriate to change my Comic Me girl from a blond one into a Brunette.. and well you know: Edward prefers Brunette! Just saying...

Ok enough about my chic blogger girly!

The kit which always was in the back of my mind was a Collab kit from Holly (from whom also the Whimsy blue design was) and MK - Designs ( she is my newest designer addition and I'm so grateful she allowed me to use her kits!)

Look at this pretty designkit:

I saw the colors and just love it, together with my Chic Bloggers brown hair.... I simply couldn't resist doing a new design..

And while redesigning I also wanted to make my Linkbar smaller, I hope you all can read it well enough and then I tried to make this cool scribble hover effect and squeed like a girl when I finally managed! Apart from the fancy Linkbar I also rearranged my Footer section so that the sidebar isn't so crowded anymore.

I also modified the green package and added something that is called Sidebar title images. Those are images which can pimp your sidebar quite a bit. To see what I mean scroll down here and look out for the Button "Follow Me" ( and since you are already there you can also follow me if you didn't do it yet *blows a kiss) and you know what the best thing is? I didn't increase the price:)

Wooohhooo so many words for one layout! Sorry girls, I get easily carried away when talking about designs! It's like when I'm talking about Twilight - it's passion.

Truth from a girl - Custom Layout

I'm especially happy to show you this layout I made for one of my longest bloggy friends Annie, who wanted me to design a layout for her personal blog. "I blog therefore I am " After searching forever she finally found this kit Truth from Falsehood from bisontine and said This is it and nothing else!

This kit is rich of wonderful and truly unique elements so that we had tons to choose from. We took a green background with music notes. Annie choose two fonts from Kevin and Amanda who are provide free fronts , including some truly cool handwriting fonts.

What makes this layout special:

- the header was really a lot of work for Annie and me to figure out how to make it perfect and I think we managed quite well

- the fonts Annie choose for header, sidebar images and Linkbar

Look at this sweetness. This is the layout Peace Love Twilight won in my giveaway I hold beginning of this month. She was immediately in love with Joifa's Sweet Melody kit and I was so happy she choose it since I really adore this kit!

Working with the kit was easy, so we soon had the first outline and Ana was just happy with it. She then send me pics she wanted to have in the header and she choose the most perfect pics for this layout!

What makes this layout special:

Hot Pink, Why Not? - Custom Layout

This is a Layout I made for Amcas from Why Not? She came to me and wanted a layout for her blog and looked for black white and pink colors. When I showed her this kit her from Camila Designs called "Max" she said this is it!

Amcas said she wanted to have a plain white background since she always posts so many picture, so I offered her to just add some color to the sidebar and the rest will remain white. I choose a black background with text for the main background and added a pink background to the sidebars, the rest stayed white.

The first header I did was not like she had envisioned so I made a new try and this one she said was perfect! After some small changes to the rest was done, and all went super smooth and easy.

What makes this layout special:

- different background for the sidebars and different colors for the border to make it all matching.

- the header, because she wanted me to have Mr.Pretty Face into Polaroid frames, which really looks cool.

- the torned papers for the title

- Amcas because she was super easy to work with and I'm glad I made this header so that she was happy with it.

Bewitched - Custom Layout

This is the Layout for my giveaway winner on my Twilight blog last week. Poptarts was one of the lucky winner and it was so damn easy to work with her! She choose a kit from Krista called Bewitching and I love the color combinations in this kit!

So what did we do for her layout? Poptarts was super easy and just told me : Go ahead.

Ohh Ok! So I did. I took the nice swirl and added it as a sidebar image. Since this looked so naked I changed to font from the sidebar titles and posttitles to a font I found here:

For the header: Poptarts just wanted to have her blogtitle and no pics so I created this header you see here. Well, and lovely Poptarts just liked all I did which was amazing since we really didn't changed anything.

What makes this layout special:

- The swirls

- The font we uploaded for the sidebar titles

- The header since the goal was just to create a header with a title!

I'm happy to tell that I have two new designer who gave me their permission to work with their design kits! It's so wonderful to be able to work with so many different designers and people on a blog layout.

The first designer I'm happy to add is bisontine who also sells her stuff at the after five shop. She has very special, unique and wonderful designs, go and look what she does! I have a sample for you:

The other one is Krista designs who sells at own shop. She has tons of beautiful kits witch wonderful color combinations. I think I saw over 50 kits? I'm sure there is one kit which screams "mine" when you look at it. Here is one of her kits :

The dreamy Vanquish - Custom Layout

I finally did it and created a blog layout for myself. My old layout was from a super creative designer and I felt super bad replacing it, but I needed some fresh air. I searched forever for a suitable kit which included my beloved colors: black white and red. I knew Lily's Little Red Bird kit but it just clicked when I looked at it for the 100th time and suddenly I had a vision.

The kit was super dreamy and wonderful, so I started working on a layout for my blog with it.

I took a plain white background for the main section, I love working on white one can do such wonderful things on a white background, so it had to be white. Since I have green in my header pushy suggested to take add also some green in the background. I took a simple red flower as a sidebar image but the white background made it easy to play with shadows.

I stayed with the Papyrus font and Script tina for the header and took also this font to do the Linkbar Buttons. I added a mouseover effect with a bird and some flowers that appear whenever you hover over a Linkbar Button.

With those two fonts I also created some nice sidebar headers, including some for Facebook, Twitter and Youtube.

The header completed the dreamy look for this layout and while creating it I suddenly knew the perfect quote...

Meilenfuchs - Custom Layout

This is a layout I did for my hubs.

Yes, my hubs let me do a blog layout for his blog! It's a blog about his passion: flying and collecting miles. :)

What I did: I took an airplane from iStock Photos and created a header with this image.

For the background I found this cool image which I uploaded as a background image.

For the postdivider and the sidebar image I took those pretty cool globe shiny vectors:)

Robmusement - Custom Layout

It's been a while now since I finished this layout here but it has been some busy days over Christmas and New Year so... This Layout here is special since it was Part of my Secret Santa gift we did with the Lemon Sisters. This was a wonderful idea to bring us all closer together. Anyway, I got itsjustme from RobMusement and she already told me that she'd love to switch from wordpress to blogger and showed me also the kit she'd love. This kit is from Holly and is called Playground, what could have been a better kit for her blog?

It was difficult, because I since this was supposed to be a gift I couldn't work on this layout together with her, I only showed her the final product. But I had Betti my beloved friend who is an Art Director and always know who I can improve my layouts, Thanks Honey for your help and support!

I really worked hard on this layout and just hoped desperately that itsjustme likes it..

What makes this Layout special ?

Beautiful Spring - Custom Layout

I'm super proud to show you this layout here, because this is the first layout for a blog that is NOT Twilight related. It's for a very dear friend of mine, Kristen who is a doula and let me do this layout for her workblog. Wonderful hu? She choose this pretty kit from Lily called Spring Garden and this made it super easy to come up with a layout because the elements inside are simply beautiful!

Kristen choose the blue-greenish background together with a dark green one and a light yellow one for the post section. We choose the purple flowers for sidebar and also for the postdivider. Super pretty is the header with those wonderful pics she send me.

What makes this layout special?

- the spring look gives you such a happy feeling

The Apples and The Feathers - Custom Layout

The girls from Apples N Feathers had a simple task: we want to have a black layout with apples and feathers, and a bit of red. Sounds easy? Not so much... But then we found the kit from Catherine and we knew this is it! I found feathers inside and we adjusted the papers a bit to make them perfect.

We took a dark background as an outer one, a grey one inside and a black one for the post and sidebars. Since there was no apple inside

we looked at iStock Photos and found those cute apples, and since Susie and Aimee are two girl running this blog we took two apples:)

What makes this Layout special?

- the Twilight look with black white red plus the apples and feathers.

- the sparkles which reminds us of our Sparkle Vampires.

- the cute little apples!

The Daisy Meadow - Custom Layout

Another wonderful Twilight blog got a new Layout! Tina is a true Rob fan which was why she called her blog Tina's been Robd and she wanted a nice Layout for her blog, which was why she came to me.

After looking through all the wonderful designs available, she found Kimla's Meadow Stories and was directly in love with it.

Tina was super easy to work with, she picked three backgrounds and after searching for the right elements to put as a sidebar image we found those sweet daisies and made also a postdivider with them.

What makes this layout special:

- the combination of blue and brown for the backgrounds are working so nice together.

- the sweet daisies give this layout a meadow like touch.

- Tina, who knew exactly what she wanted and therefore was super easy to work with!

The sweet Darkness - Custom Layout

Here is my new Layout I did for my wonderful friends fragile little human and one pushy fox, who are writing a wonderful story together. I love this story and I was blessed when they ask me to do a design for their blog! Choosing the kit was not that easy, the girls had a special idea about the background, but the kit they wanted was from a designer I'm not allowed to work with, so I looked around. Lily's Take me to the old World kit was the one which fit the best:

But still the backgrounds were not the right ones, so I looked around and found the perfect backgrounds in Lily's Autumn kit:

Then the girls wanted to have it dark, so looked around and found the dark leaves, together with some shiny light makes it perfect!

What makes this Layout special:

- the header, I am totally in love with it

- the dark leaves in combination with some light and a lamp

- the overall dark atmosphere fit's perfect together

- fragile who made me look for the perfect background and the perfect leaves for this layout, pushy with her enthusiasms about fonts who choose the perfect font!

Girls, I had tons of fun with both of you and I hope you like your layout as much as I do and go and write more wonderful stories together!

The blossom Foxy - Custom Layout

I was really happy when One Pushy Fox came to me and ask for a layout for her blog. She was one of my very first blogger friends. When we started discussing her layout she showed me this cute little foxy and I immediately knew the perfect kit for it: The Cherry Blossom kit from Lily.

I got excited because I knew this will turn out wonderful. We super fast adjusted the backgrounds and then I made this cute little sidebar image with a bamboo that looks like as if it would underline the title. The only problem: It just looks good with only one line, but pushy wanted it like this and so she had to adjust all her titles :)

Let's talk about the header and the fonts. The Header was super fast done, but Pushy couldn't really decide what picture we should put in. Specially Spike was a problem :) She downloaded tons of pictures and we switched him..quite often..

The fonts have been a similar problem, she found not less than 100 fonts she liked and finally we tried 3 and took 2. I think they are gorgeous and match perfectly!

What makes this layout special:

- the cute sidebar image with the bamboo

- the sweet foxy in the header

- the backgrounds which look like Papyrus

- Foxy with her enthusiasm about Spike and fonts.

Purple is cool - Custom Layout

This Layout was done for a blogger who wanted to have a dreamy ethereal and twinkly layout. Bex from Today I feel infinite. So she choose a kit from Kimla called Letters to Heaven and Oh it's so beautiful and perfect for her wishes! The kit includes so many stars and beautiful light elements it was pure joy working with this kit.

Since Bex wanted to have a lot of sparkling we had to take a darker background for the main post section and it was not easy to find a matching paper for this. We tried back and forth but in the end the light purple one won her heart. Bex also wanted to change the font to a smaller one and she choose "Book Antiqua". The two fonts she choose for the header and the signature are also beyond beautiful and match the overall look of the design.

What makes this layout special:

- the wonderful fonts she choose to match the design

- the purple colors, you know purple's cool ;)

- the dreamy Header with the KissyProm Pictures

- Bex, who made it move the quote inch by inch so that is was perfect;)

Bloody red Twilight -Custom Layout

This Layout is for a wonderful bloggy friend of mine who loves everything about Twilight and True Blood, Honolulu Girl from True Blood Twilight. Apart from that she loves having her blog in black black white and red matching the Twilight colors. She choose Lily's Dark Angels Layout (which was done specially for us Twilighters) and I started working on it. I knew I had to make a black background and so the inner part had to be light.

For the inner part I did something I really adore, when you scroll down, you see on each site of the sidebars two chairs appear. The left two chairs have an apple (Twilight) and a Martini glass ( True Blood) on the right site there is a small Twilight book with an apple on the chairs.

For the sidebar image I took shining candles (those ones I took from Kimla's Blueberry Nights kit) and added some apples. I think it's lovely, the only problem is that it only looks good with one line of widget title. :))

Since we pimped the layout quite a bit we thought the header should stay "cleaner". And Honolulu Girl wanted to have a) a blood filled Martini glass and b) the Eclipse ribbon. So I went to my favorite place on iStock Photos and searched for a red filled Martini glass and found this one here:

The red ribbon was easy to find and so I included everything in her header.

What makes this Layout special:

- truly the little details like the chairs and the shinning candles.

- the combination of red, black white and grey makes it to a perfect Twilight - True Blood layout.

- Honolulu Girl with her lovely trust in me!

Duty Comic Stripes - Custom Layout

Uhm stupid name for a layout, but hey inside is everything about this new Layout.

"Duty": Name of the blog Call of Duty Widow (and yes hmmille needed to tell me that this is actually a game....)

"Comic": Ohhh we included a beautiful Comic in the Layout,

"Stripes" Yes the layout has stripes *giggles*

Actually Heather was one of the first people ever asking me for a layout, even before Twispired existed. We discussed the colors for her blog, she told me she likes green, in the end she decided on Holly's Baby Cakes kit. I love the colors in there, the green works so nicely together with the purple!

I thought about the header and while thinking I looked around on iStock Photo for inspiration

and then I found her!!! Isn't she great?? I showed Mrs Comic Me to Heather and she loved her too, that was why we included her in the header. The only thing I changes was the eye color into green because apparently Heather has green eyes :)

And for sure we had to include some gorgeous men!

What makes this layout special:

- the cute little alphas which were included in the kit!

- the perfect combination of green and purple

- and Heather who was so super easy to work with, it was awesome!

Twilight Bubble - Header

My wonderful friend marie recently stared her own blog together with her Australian friend Leigh. It was time my dear:) The girls really liked the 3 Column Dark Angels design I did and the only thing they needed was a matching header.

I took a frame from the Dark Angels kit and included the pictures the girls send me. For the blogtitle we took the Twilight font to make it perfect.

Rainy Forks - Custom Layout

Woohooo, let me show you the Custom Layout I did for MyTwilife. We gave this template the name Rainy Forks because it truly looks like that:). She came to me and wanted to have a new layout with brownish colors. I showed her different design kits, but she was not sure with what we should do the layout.

Finally, Lily's Take me to the old world kit was the one. I adore this kit, it reminds me so of Forks and New Moon. (Anyone interested in a New Moon layout? *giggles* )

MyTwilife wanted to have a rainy look, and so I tried to make the background rainy. She also liked to have a little sun shining from one corner. As a sidebar image we took a small lamp, which I found pretty sweet. Dark Forks needs some light right?

What makes this Layout special:

- the background: many details with the sun and the rain

- the sweet little lamp

- MyTwilife with her passion to make me do exactly what she wants.

The Meadow - Custom Layout

Yesterday I finished my second custom Layout for the wonderful cutie from the Super Secret Twilight Blog and I am beyond happy with what we did together. We created cuties personal Meadow. When I started working on KG's Pink Wonderment cutie came to me and knocked on my door telling me that she also would like to have a new layout. I was hooked specially when you know that cutie hates changes but it makes me more then proud that she was willing to let me do something for her.

She choose Kimla's Blueberry Nights kit; we saw it and called it immediately The Meadow, because this just fit so perfectly. Kimla, I hope you don't mind but we recalled your wonderful kit because for us Twilighters this is the prefect Meadow theme!

I made a 2 Column Layout with a linkbar and included some shiny stars in the background to make this layout more dreamy. For sure we had to take Meadow pictures for the header and I applied some dreamy filters and added some leafs and flowers on it. The background was a hard decision since I made a green background for the inner part but we discussed about light blue or not. Finally cutie decided that it should be the green one because : Green is what?! Green is good!

Thanks again to my wonderful Twibestie Betti from Betti.Music.Twilight for the constant input and ideas.

What makes this layout perfect is the font we took for the sidebar titles and the post title, it's Edward's font called "Be safe"

A pink Wonderment - Custom Layout

I proudly did my first custom layout for a very dear bloggy friend of mine. For the wonderful KG from i heart mythical creatures. She won this template on a giveaway Annie The Danger Magnet hold two weeks before and she was brave enough to let me do a new bloglayout for her. The funny thing was that we already started thinking about a layout together, so it was fate that she won this giveaway.

KG choose the Pink chocolate kit from Kimla designs and wanted to have a 2 column layout with a horizontal linkbar.

I made some small and lovely sidebar images with a flower and a little heart and for the postdivider we took this cool pink bubbles. For the sidebar image we have to thank my Betti from Betti.Music.Twilight, because she had this wonderful idea to combine the flower with the heart.

Very proud makes me the header, I truly love this one. KG told me that she liked very much the header I did for the 2 Column Dark Angels layout. Ok, so I tried to make her an own header which goes in that direction but yet looks unique. We finally included some New Moon pictures and so it's ready. I'm so glad she waited to send me the pictures until I saw New Moon. I heart you girl! We included the linkbar inside the header which looks for her layout the best, we think.

New designkits

There are new designkits released from my favorite designers. Maybe there is one which makes you wish you would have a blogdesign with those? Go and have a look at the shop page so that you get inspired. Truly, I think those kits would make wonderful blogdesigns!

The first one is from Kimla and so dreamy and beautiful, I love the light blue together with the white makes a wonderful kit.

Lily also made a winter kit, but I think there are elements one can also use for a every day blog design. I could imagine that with some red elements this could look stunning! When you go to her shop you see that especially the papers are wonderful.

Here is Holly's new kit. Super sweet! The colors she choose are so nice. Don't get scared by the Baby stuff in this kit! I would never use one of those elements unless you tell me to do so. But the papers and some of those elements are just beautiful. Light green together with brown.

Since I told you already that I'm so in love with Lily's kits, I made a new Dark Angel template. This is truly a Twilight template although can be used by everyone who likes it. :)

Some things about this layout:

it's a 3 column layout
I added the Papyrus font for all sidebar and post titles
There is a small apple in front of every sidebar title
it has a post divider with black wings from the kit and some ornaments
the colors from text and borders can be easily adjusted
no header, so you can add your own header

Ohh I am truly in love with this one. I put all my love for blogdesign and Twilight inside, that is what makes this layout so special for me. I used the Dark Angel's kit from Lily that she made specially for the Twilight fans out there.

Some things about this layout:

it's a 2 column layout with a wider post section.
the background is made out of 4 layers
I uses a special font for the sidebar title and the post title.
I added a small black feather for the sidebar titles
it has a postdivider and a signature, both you can see when you click on it to see it live!

This is one of my first templates and I used Kimla's beautiful pink Chocolate kit for this layout. I love the color combinations Kimla used for this kit and I couldn't resist doing a blog layout with it.

Some things about this template:

I'm 31, married no kids and I'm doing a PhD in Biology (hopefully finished this year!). I came to blogger by my love for Twilight. With Twilight I found blogging and found a new passion. My scientists nature made me want to know more about html and how to pretty up my blog.

That is how I started with Blog Design and for the first time in my Life I could do something creative and I really love it! I met so many wonderful people and I'm blessed to do blog designs for them. How long does it take to finish my layout?

I have a waiting list, but when I start with your layout it will take around two to five days. It all depends on how many changes we have to do and how fast you answer my emails. I work on the layouts in my evening since I have a full time job and we also have to deal with different time zones. Plus, the better you describe your wishes the faster I can work. So take your time when filling out the order form and be as precise as possible.

What do you need to start working on my layout?

I need to know some details about your layout, like: how many columns (if only two, then tell me on which site you want the sidebar) and what font’s you would like me to use. Do you want to have a link bar? Something special? Just tell me! However, the most important information I need is the design kit. Please take your time to find the one that matches your ideas. If you can’t find something tell me which colors you would like to have and I can help you searching. When you choose your kit, please tell me what you like and what you dislike in this kit.

How does it work with those design kits anyway?

I use those design kits for the look of your layout. There are papers inside that I use for the backgrounds. In each kit are around 60-80 unique elements like flowers, swirls etc. I will only use 5-10 elements for your layout.

Please make sure to just choose a kit from a designer I’m allowed to work with. I am not allowed to use a kit from another designers. If there is a kit you truly adore and can’t find something similar from “my” designers we can try to contact her and ask her permission.

I want a Vector Style layout, can you do that?

Yes I can, but I have to buy Vectors at iStock or Shutterstock since I'm not a graphic designer myself. Every vector I have to buy for your layout will go on top of the package price.

How do I transfer the new layout?

I will install everything for you, I only need your blogger login and a password, please change it for me during the time I’m working on it. You can also install it yourself, but then I can’t adjust things anymore. If I install it, I’ll make sure that you won’t loose any widgets.

How much costs a layout?

You can find my prices and packages here. However, I won’t make a custom layout for free. Although this is a hobby it takes me hours to finish a layout until you are happy with it. But if you would take your time and look around at the prices from other designers you will see that I’m not expensive ;)

How many revisions do I have?

Many designers work with 1-3 revisions per layout. I'm not that strict, however I will inform you before the time I put in changes goes overboard. After this I will charge per hour of time I spend for your changes, which will be 25$ per hour.

Can you also make a wordpress layout?

Unfortunately not, I can only do blogger layouts

How can I pay you?

I can only accept paypal. I will request 25$ in advance, once this is paid you will get your place in the waiting line.
