Rainy Forks - Custom Layout

Woohooo, let me show you the Custom Layout I did for MyTwilife. We gave this template the name Rainy Forks because it truly looks like that:). She came to me and wanted to have a new layout with brownish colors. I showed her different design kits, but she was not sure with what we should do the layout.

Finally, Lily's Take me to the old world kit was the one. I adore this kit, it reminds me so of Forks and New Moon. (Anyone interested in a New Moon layout? *giggles* )

MyTwilife wanted to have a rainy look, and so I tried to make the background rainy. She also liked to have a little sun shining from one corner. As a sidebar image we took a small lamp, which I found pretty sweet. Dark Forks needs some light right?

What makes this Layout special:

- the background: many details with the sun and the rain

- the sweet little lamp

- MyTwilife with her passion to make me do exactly what she wants.

The Meadow - Custom Layout

Yesterday I finished my second custom Layout for the wonderful cutie from the Super Secret Twilight Blog and I am beyond happy with what we did together. We created cuties personal Meadow. When I started working on KG's Pink Wonderment cutie came to me and knocked on my door telling me that she also would like to have a new layout. I was hooked specially when you know that cutie hates changes but it makes me more then proud that she was willing to let me do something for her.

She choose Kimla's Blueberry Nights kit; we saw it and called it immediately The Meadow, because this just fit so perfectly. Kimla, I hope you don't mind but we recalled your wonderful kit because for us Twilighters this is the prefect Meadow theme!

I made a 2 Column Layout with a linkbar and included some shiny stars in the background to make this layout more dreamy. For sure we had to take Meadow pictures for the header and I applied some dreamy filters and added some leafs and flowers on it. The background was a hard decision since I made a green background for the inner part but we discussed about light blue or not. Finally cutie decided that it should be the green one because : Green is what?! Green is good!

What makes this layout perfect is the font we took for the sidebar titles and the post title, it's Edward's font called "Be safe"

A pink Wonderment - Custom Layout

I proudly did my first custom layout for a very dear bloggy friend of mine. For the wonderful KG from i heart mythical creatures. She won this template on a giveaway Annie The Danger Magnet hold two weeks before and she was brave enough to let me do a new bloglayout for her. The funny thing was that we already started thinking about a layout together, so it was fate that she won this giveaway.

KG choose the Pink chocolate kit from Kimla designs and wanted to have a 2 column layout with a horizontal linkbar.

I made some small and lovely sidebar images with a flower and a little heart and for the postdivider we took this cool pink bubbles. For the sidebar image we have to thank my Betti from Betti.Music.Twilight, because she had this wonderful idea to combine the flower with the heart.

Very proud makes me the header, I truly love this one. KG told me that she liked very much the header I did for the 2 Column Dark Angels layout. Ok, so I tried to make her an own header which goes in that direction but yet looks unique. We finally included some New Moon pictures and so it's ready. I'm so glad she waited to send me the pictures until I saw New Moon. I heart you girl! We included the linkbar inside the header which looks for her layout the best, we think.

- and well, just KG with her ideas.

New designkits

There are new designkits released from my favorite designers. Maybe there is one which makes you wish you would have a blogdesign with those? Go and have a look at the shop page so that you get inspired. Truly, I think those kits would make wonderful blogdesigns!

The first one is from Kimla and so dreamy and beautiful, I love the light blue together with the white makes a wonderful kit.

Lily also made a winter kit, but I think there are elements one can also use for a every day blog design. I could imagine that with some red elements this could look stunning! When you go to her shop you see that especially the papers are wonderful.

Here is Holly's new kit. Super sweet! The colors she choose are so nice. Don't get scared by the Baby stuff in this kit! I would never use one of those elements unless you tell me to do so. But the papers and some of those elements are just beautiful. Light green together with brown.

Dark Angel Blog Template, 3 Column

Since I told you already that I'm so in love with Lily's kits, I made a new Dark Angel template. This is truly a Twilight template although can be used by everyone who likes it. :)

Some things about this layout:

• it's a 3 column layout
• I added the Papyrus font for all sidebar and post titles
• There is a small apple in front of every sidebar title
• it has a post divider with black wings from the kit and some ornaments
• the colors from text and borders can be easily adjusted
• no header, so you can add your own header

Dark Angel Blog Template

Ohh I am truly in love with this one. I put all my love for blogdesign and Twilight inside, that is what makes this layout so special for me. I used the Dark Angel's kit from Lily that she made specially for the Twilight fans out there.

Some things about this layout:

• it's a 2 column layout with a wider post section.
• the background is made out of 4 layers
• I uses a special font for the sidebar title and the post title.
• I added a small black feather for the sidebar titles
• it has a postdivider and a signature, both you can see when you click on it to see it live!

Black and White Blog Template

This is a simple black and white blog template. I did this without using any scrapebooks however I used some nice ornaments and a font which makes this template special.

Some things about this template :

• It has a special font for the blogtitle, the sidebar titles and the post title. These cannot be changed.
• I added a small icon to the sidebar titles
• 3 column layout

Pink Chocolate Blog Template

No longer available!

This is one of my first templates and I used Kimla's beautiful pink Chocolate kit for this layout. I love the color combinations Kimla used for this kit and I couldn't resist doing a blog layout with it.

Some things about this template:

• This layout has a header where one can include a picture and I used some special fonts for the blog name. (See an example in the picture below)
• The background is fixed and consists of 4 layers and a few design elements.
